Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Matstiming ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Matstiming website, mobile-friendly web app, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, browsing profiles, or sending messages, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, do not use the Service. We recommend reviewing the Safety Tips and Cookie Policy as well - they describe how we keep the platform safe and how we use cookies.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

To register and use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the United States and your state of residence.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration - including a real first name, a valid email address, and at least one authentic photo of yourself.
• Not be a convicted sex offender or be subject to any registry that would legally prohibit your participation in an online dating service.
• Not have previously been banned or removed from Matstiming for a violation of these Terms.
• Maintain a single account. Duplicate accounts may be merged or removed at our discretion.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at our contact page if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. User Conduct and Community Standards

Matstiming is built for honest, respectful connections between truck drivers, owner-operators, and the people who want to date them. By using the Service you agree to:

1. Be truthful. Use your real name, real photos, and accurate route or location information. Do not impersonate any other person, driver, or company.
2. Respect other members. Communicate as you would on the CB or at a Pilot or Flying J - directly, but with basic decency. Harassment, threats, slurs, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated.
3. Keep it personal, not commercial. Matstiming is for personal dating connections only. Do not use the Service to recruit drivers, sell freight, promote third-party platforms, or solicit money.
4. Report problems. If you encounter a fake profile, a scam attempt, or behavior that violates these Terms, report it through the in-app tools or via our support team.
5. Meet safely. Use neutral, well-lit public locations such as established truck stops, diners, or rest plazas for first meet-ups. Review our Safety Tips before any in-person meeting.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not, and you may not allow anyone else to, use the Service to:

• Post, upload, or share any sexually explicit content involving minors, non-consensual content, or imagery you do not own the rights to.
• Engage in or promote prostitution, escort services, or any form of commercial sexual exchange.
• Solicit, collect, or extract money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information from other members under any pretense (romance scams, emergency stories, investment offers, etc.).
• Distribute spam, chain messages, phishing links, malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract member data using automated means, bots, or unauthorized API access.
• Use the Service for hate speech, harassment, stalking, defamation, or incitement of violence against any person or group.
• Post content that promotes illegal drugs, illegal firearms transactions, human trafficking, or any other criminal activity.
• Misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, employment, or CDL status in a manner intended to deceive other members.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code of the Service.

4. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that we believe violates these Terms, harms other members, or exposes Matstiming to legal or reputational risk. Reasons for termination may include but are not limited to verified scam activity, repeated harassment reports, fake profile detection, or non-payment of any premium feature you have purchased.

You may close your own account at any time from your account settings. Once closed, your public profile is removed within 24 hours, and your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Certain anonymized data may be retained for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and aggregate analytics.

Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued before the termination date, including outstanding subscription fees or liability for prior conduct.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Matstiming does not guarantee that you will find a match, that any member you communicate with is suitable, or that any meeting arranged through the Service will result in a satisfactory outcome. Matstiming is not a marriage agency, an introduction agency, or a background-check service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matstiming, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages - including loss of profits, loss of data, emotional distress, or loss of goodwill - arising from or relating to your use of the Service, your interactions with other members, or any in-person meetings, regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are sought. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law and in no event shall it exceed the amount you have paid to Matstiming in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

6. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Matstiming agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by writing to our support team.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation within thirty (30) days, both parties agree to submit the matter to binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in English, in the State of Delaware (or by video where permitted). You waive the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, our business, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Effective" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, please discontinue use of the Service and close your account.
